Born in Florence in 1968, Deborah Ciolli began to dedicate to ceramics by attending the Atelier of Monica Borca and the Slate Laboratory of Certaldo. In 1996 she decided to open his own laboratory where she realized sculptures and panels in refractory clay decorated with crystalline and with a particular craquelure of his invention obtained through a combination with cobalt and copper in the third cooking. The attention to history and tradition induces her to use in her works the Tuscan clays, such as the galestro. Over the years she has made numerous personal and collective exhibitions and installations of Land art in Italy. Since 2010, her works are present at the Majolika Museum in Karlsruhe (Germany) and in many collections in Italy and abroad. In 2014 her works "La Poetessa" and "Principe Ranocchio" were used as cover for the collection of poems by Rossana Pavone and for a score of opera "Il Principe Ranocchio politicamente scorretto" by Floriano D'Auria. In 2012 she realized in Piombino the "Alberi Marini" opera set up in the garden of the friars and the murals for the children's reading room of the Falesiana civic library and, in the same year, she created the prizes for the European swimming championship in free waters that had taken place in the Tuscan town. At ceramic works she has also joined, since 1997, the teaching of clay manipulation techniques at some elementary schools in Piombino.

Since 2008 she has been working as a technical assistant with high school I.P.C. Ceccarelli to the project "Art as Integration" which, through the work of ceramics, has the aim of integrating the disabled with the normodotates. In 2012 she started a series of creative ceramic courses in his laboratory in collaboration with the "Sempre Donna" Association working in the field of aid for oncology patients and with Dr. Vatteroni psychotherapist for the psychological support of people suffering from oncological disease and for their family members. She also participates, with some of her sculptures dedicated to poems and tales of two writers, at the March 8 meeting on women in art, organized by the Equal Opportunity Unit and the Piombino Municipal Library. Always in the same year, she realized the sculpture "La Donna fiorita", used as a symbol for the first symposium for postnatal breast reconstruction, subsequently adopted as a symbol of "Sempre Donna", an association of women working on the breast of the valley of Cornia. In 2016 she made seals and a murals for the communal garden of the Bifore house in Piombino in collaboration with high school students Einaudi Ceccherelli.
